This workshop focuses primarily on the mindset of an entrepreneur. It paints a mental picture for aspiring entrepreneurs of the process that successful entrepreneurs go through from idea generation to the actual business formation and all the way to financial independence. The factors that are attributable to successful business ventures are discussed. The class also provides the attendees with a business start-up kit "Smart Start." In order to provide real life examples of successful entrepreneurship, this class features an entrepreneur that has been in business for more than five years. The workshop concludes with an overview of the services offered by the SBDC.

Included will be information on all the resources that are available for their business needs. Seating is limited so you must register for the sessions. Anyone thinking about starting their own business or expanding an existing business would benefit from this informational session. This session is also good for any Veterans looking to start their own business and looking for resources to do so. There is a $20.00 registration fee. During this workshop you will be given a free packet of information just for attending. This packet is provided free in thanks of The Citizens Bank, who sponsored the materials. It is yours to keep.
