BOSS/B.A.S.E./Business Start-Up Training
Within each of Ohio’s 12 Economic Development Regions, local communities are presented with a variety of opportunities to attract local businesses or anyone interested in starting a business in Ohio. These local SBDC training programs are conducted to assist Ohio’s entrepreneurs get their businesses started on the right track.
Community-Based Training
The SBDC centers offer business development training to Ohio’s entrepreneurs in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Accounting/ Finance, and Business Plans. SBDC offices offer this training either through NxLeveLTM, FastTrac®, or programs developed specially by the SBDC offices.

Small Business Training on Demand
These no cost, self-paced, online courses are easy to use and understand. They will take about 30 minutes to complete and are offered in a variety of subjects. Click here for more training on demand!
Small Business Webinars
The Ohio SBDC offers webinars to individual small business owners, chamber and association members, and to groups such as the Rotary Club. These one- to two-hour, single-topic webinars address the major issues facing today’s small business owners such as healthcare, energy and access to capital.
